The 4th All Kerala Self-financing Medical Colleges Arts and Sports Youth Festival November 11th to 15th 2008
Venue: Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College - Karakonam, Trivandrum
It is the first appearance of Kannur Medical College in the All Kerala Self-financing Medical Colleges Arts and Sports Youth Festival, INTERMEDICOS. INTEMEDICOS is conducted annually in one of the medical colleges of the self-financing medical college consortium.

Football- KMC v/s Gokulam- KMC beat Gokulam by 5-0 and enters quarter final ( Jaleel A -3, Shameem P -1, Sreejit S -1)
The Kannur Medical College Students head for "KONZERIO 08", the 4th all Kerala self-financing medical colleges meet, INTERMEDICOS 2008 to be held from 11th of November 2008 onwards in Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakonam.
The Academic Club conducted INTELLECTA - 2008, the Quiz Contest, at Charaka Hall on 20th October 4:30 pm, under the leadership of Mehnaz Ibrahim and assistance of Arun Sujath as a part of screening campaign of KMC Union to send master brains of the campus to the INTERMEDICOS state level medical college competition, which is to be held at Karakonam Medical College, Trivandrum on November 13th through 15th .
Arun Ramesh and Reshma of 2007 MBBS batch topped the contest out of 63 participants.
Dr. Ashokan, Lakshmi Mohan & The iT Club played a major role by helping the club collect the data and create the presentations. Dr. Bithun Balan graced the occasion with his presence.
Our College is an institution still in it's salad days and so are its students.A magazine is a suitable medium through which we can channelize our boundless energy & give wings to our thoughts & ideas.
We,the students, plan to bring out a publication a cut above the rest to cater to an audience consisting of the ready,capable & motivated
Kannur Medical College celebrated the National Service Scheme (NSS) Day on 24th September 2008. The Kannur Medical College unit of NSS was also launched in the same function. The function started at 10:00 am with the NSS song sung by the NSS volunteers. NSS programme officer of Kannur Medical College, Dr. Sagar Borker delivered the welcome speech and wlecomed the dignitories.
